94 Maidens mourns

94 Maidens mourns the loss of the 11 innocent victims of the Tree of Life Synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh last Shabbat who were murdered because they were Jews. We are united against anti-Semitism. We are stronger than hate in all its forms. May their memories be a blessing and let us finally come together and put an end to such violence in all of our communities everywhere.

Praise for author Rhonda Fink-Whitman’s speaking engagements

So grateful for praise like this:

“I wanted to personally thank Ms. Fink-Whitman for her wonderful presentation last Thursday Night at the B’nai B’rith Installation Dinner. She captured the attendees from the minute she began speaking – until the last guest left. She was personable and shared her experiences as well as describing her book, “94 Maidens,” We are all excited to read the book.
Once again, thank you for your participation at our event.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must-read! By SAO
“I am a high school student and chose to read 94 Maidens as my summer reading novel. The characters and story lines really moved me and will stick with me for a long time. Rhonda Fink-Whitman was a guest speaker at my school recently and spoke about her book and life story to us. It was an experience that I will never forget. The book generated a great discussion for my classmates and I, and really put the Holocaust in a new perspective for us. This book truly touched my heart and I would very highly recommend it because it really impacted my life.”
Wow! What an amazing recommendation from a high school student who CHOSE to read 94 Maidens on a summer break and was moved, touched, and IMPACTED by both the book and the classroom presentation in such a positive way! I am humbled, honored, and incredibly lifted by this precious 5-star review on Amazon! Thank you, SAO from the bottom of my heart! It’s reactions like yours that reinforce the importance of reading 94 Maidens in the classroom and substantiates my efforts bringing the story and the lessons of the Holocaust to incredible students like you! With love ~ Rhonda

Had to share this email 94 Maidens author Rhonda Fink-Whitman received from one of the students she met last week at Cardinal O’Hara High School

“Hello Mrs. Fink-Whitman,
I just wanted to thank you for coming to my school to speak about your book and life last Friday. 94 Maidens was truly inspiring to read, and really gave me a new perspective on the Holocaust and even life itself. I haven’t read a book that was that powerful and meaningful in a very long time. Thank you for sharing your story in such an amazing and personal way. It really made an impact on my life.”

This is why the book was written and this is why we’ll never stop championing mandated Holocaust education.
This is why we do it. Our hearts are completely full.
