Don’t count on Schwartz

After much condescending political double speak from Congresswoman Allyson Y. Schwartz’s camp, we were able to extrapolate this: While she supports “the concept” of mandating Holocaust and Genocide education in PA public schools, she WILL NOT COMMIT to supporting our amended bill, HB 1424. (It took a week to get that answer. AND she is the daughter of a Holocaust survivor!) Sounds a lot like something right out of the PA Jewish Coalition’s handbook and they’re the ones who are trying to KILL the mandate!

IMHO she’s a compromiser who specializes in fuzzy math and is in no hurry to see the mandate happen anytime soon.  Put Schwartz in the “MAYBE – ONE DAY – WHEN SHE’S THE QUEEN AND RAINBOWS AND UNICORNS RULE THE EARTH” column.  What a huge disappointment she turned out to be, especially in light of what just happened to the Jews in the Ukraine.

If this is the type of response we can expect from her as Governor, then as they say on Shark Tank, I’m out!

Btw, Rob McCord’s peeps called us back in about 10 minutes with a straightforward resounding “YES” to supporting HB 1424, sans qualifications or reservations. Just sayin.’
