Book signing event a roaring success at The Doylestown Bookshop!

94 Maidens took me 12 years to write.  There is literally blood, sweat, and tears on every page.  When I do a book signing and presentation and friends, both old and new, some I haven’t seen since childhood, come out in the rain to support me and buy multiple copies of my book, I cannot even begin to tell you how much that fills my heart.  Thank you all for coming!  I hope you enjoy the read and recommend it to others.  I feel so blessed to have you in my corner!  And many thanks to The Doylestown Bookshop for supporting local, independent authors like myself and hosting such wonderful events!  Please patronize these shops so that they can continue to flourish in our community!
With much love, appreciation and gratitude…Rhonda ♥

Florida Book Tour HUGELY successful!

We really enjoyed our time in South Florida doing a book presentation and signing at the Delray Community Center in Delray Beach and taping an interview with Rabbi Yaacov Thompson at Sunrise Studios for JLTV. The interview will air in 2-3 months.  We’ll keep you posted when we find out the air date!  Many thanks to “Re-Living The Holocaust: Through Their Eyes” producer Bob Pianka for inviting us down for the interview and to Risa Demato for giving us the opportunity to speak to a packed house at the DCC!

While we were there, we interviewed Hungarian Holocaust survivor Agnes Simon.  Her clips will be up on our “94 Maidens” YouTube channel soon!

We also managed to squeeze in some play time at the beach and a drive-thru safari!

This author couldn’t have done it without her mighty entourage: Mom, Kenny, Jody, Eric, Hinda, Harvey and of course, her trusted assistant, Ronit!  A hearty thank you and hugs and kisses to you all!!

Florida was great!  Thanks for the warm hospitality, Sunshine State!  We’ll be back!

The author’s outfits on this tour were hand-picked by fashion blogger extraordinaire, Vittoria Woodill.  Visit her at her site:

Gone Shopping with Polished for Pennies!

Boy oh boy, did we have fun this weekend!

No, I don’t mean watching the Superbowl, Schmuperbowl!  But we sure did SCORE!!

Polished for Pennies’ fashion blogger Vittoria Woodill took author Rhonda Fink-Whitman on a shopping spree to find just the right dress for her upcoming interview with JLTV (Jewish Living Television – check your local listings!)

Vittoria had her work cut out for her dressing our very picky author!  Rhonda’s dress had to be professional, polished, classic and classy.  She didn’t want anything too trendy, but she didn’t want to look like an old Bubbie either!  And of course she needed that Polished for Pennies’ trademark “pop of color!”

Well, we “shopped for what popped” as Vittoria says and almost shopped til we dropped, but Vittoria pulled it off, as she always does, by finding not one, but TWO perfect choices – dresses with necklace accessories at JCP, all for under $50!!

Leave it to Vittoria with her smart, youthful and fashionable eye to choose styles Rhonda would have never picked up off the rack herself, but when she put them on, Wowza!  Everything our author required, including a jackpot price tag, all rolled into two stunning ensembles!  Vittoria taught Rhonda all about texture, fabric, and zip-factor!  Oh yeah!

Hmmm…now which one to wear on the air???  Either choice will make our author look and feel confident and polished for just a few shiny pennies!  Stay tuned to see which one Rhonda picks!

Find out how YOU TOO can look Polished for Pennies at and be sure to like P4P’s Facebook page and follow Vittoria’s fashion sense and keen eye for a sweet deal on Twitter and Pinterest too!

P.S. Vittoria spotted a few other gems for Rhonda to wear at book signings and speaking engagements like a gorgeous, flowy Michael Kors cheetah-print wrap dress at Saks Fifth Avenue – Off Fifth, originally $275. that the author scooped up for just $39.95!  This dress with Rhonda’s candy apple-red Liz Claiborne pumps…purrrrfect!!!

Thank you, Vittoria Woodill and Polished for Pennies!!!  You’re the one to watch for getting the latest look for less!
